masyasya caranav udak

ano 'patad viparyastam

rudatah prapadahatam

SYNONYMS

hinvatah -- moving; adhah -- beneath; sayanasya -- of Him who was lying; masyasya -- the child only a few months old; caranau -- His two feet; udak -- upwards; anah -- the cart; apatat -- fell; viparyastam -- turned upside-down; rudatah -- of Him who was crying; prapada -- by the tip of the foot; ahatam -- struck.

TRANSLATION

Once, when only three months old, little Krsna was crying and kicking up His feet as He lay beneath a huge cart. Then the cart fell and turned upside-down simply because it was struck by the tip of His toe.
