vrsasuram upahvayat
SYNONYMS
bhagavan -- the Supreme Personality of Godhead; api -- indeed; tat -- that; viksya -- seeing; go-kulam -- the cowherd community; bhaya -- out of fear; vidrutam -- made to flee, or distraught; ma bhaista -- "don't be afraid"; iti -- thus; gira -- with words; asvasya -- pacifying; vrsa-asuram -- to the bull demon; upahvayat -- He called out.
TRANSLATION
When the Supreme Lord saw the cowherd community distraught and fleeing in fear, He calmed them, saying, "Don't be afraid." Then He called out to the bull demon as follows.
