apy anghri-mule patitasya me vibhuh
sirasy adhasyan nija-hasta-pankajam
dattabhayam kala-bhujanga-ramhasa
prodvejitanam saranaisinam nrnam
SYNONYMS
api -- furthermore; anghri -- of His feet; mule -- at the base; patitasya -- who have fallen; me -- of me; vibhuh -- the almighty Lord; sirasi -- upon the head; adhasyat -- will place; nija -- His own; hasta -- hand; pankajam -- lotuslike; datta -- which grants; abhayam -- fearlessness; kala -- time; bhuja-anga -- of the serpent; ramhasa -- by the swift force; prodvejitanam -- who are greatly disturbed; sarana -- shelter; esinam -- searching for; nrnam -- to persons.
TRANSLATION
And when I have fallen at His feet, the almighty Lord will place His lotus hand upon my head. For those who seek shelter in Him because they are greatly disturbed by the powerful serpent of time, that hand removes all fear.
