SYNONYMS

gopyah -- the cowherd girls; tah -- they; tat -- then; upasrutya -- hearing; babhuvuh -- became; vyathitah -- distressed; bhrsam -- extremely; rama-krsnau -- Balarama and Krsna; purim -- to the city; netum -- to take; akruram -- Akrura; vrajam -- to Vrndavana; agatam -- come.

TRANSLATION

When the young gopis heard that Akrura had come to Vraja to take Krsna and Balarama to the city, they became extremely distressed.
