na nanda-sunuh ksana-bhanga-sauhrdah
samiksate nah sva-krtatura bata
vihaya gehan sva-janan sutan patims
tad-dasyam addhopagata nava-priyah
SYNONYMS
na -- does not; nanda-sunuh -- the son of Nanda Maharaja; ksana -- in a moment; bhanga -- the breaking; sauhrdah -- of whose friendship; samiksate -- look upon; nah -- us; sva -- by Him; krta -- made; aturah -- under His control; bata -- alas; vihaya -- giving up; gehan -- our homes; sva-janan -- relatives; sutan -- children; patin -- husbands; tat -- to Him; dasyam -- servitude; addha -- directly; upagatah -- who have taken up; nava -- ever new; priyah -- whose lovers.
TRANSLATION
Alas, Nanda's son, who breaks loving friendships in a second, will not even look directly at us. Forcibly brought under His control, we abandoned our homes, relatives, children and husbands just to serve Him, but He is always looking for new lovers.
