sri-bhagavan uvaca

tata saumyagatah kaccit

sv-agatam bhadram astu vah

api sva-jnati-bandhunam

anamivam anamayam

SYNONYMS

sri-bhagavan uvaca -- the Supreme Personality of Godhead said; tata -- O uncle; saumya -- O gentle one; agatah -- arrived; kaccit -- whether; su-agatam -- welcome; bhadram -- all good; astu -- may there be; vah -- for you; api -- whether; sva -- for your well-wishing friends; jnati -- intimate relatives; bandhunam -- and other family members; anamivam -- freedom from unhappiness; anamayarn -- freedom from disease.

TRANSLATION

The Supreme Lord said: My dear, gentle Uncle Akrura, was your trip here comfortable? May all good fortune be yours. Are our well-wishing friends and our relatives, both close and distant, happy and in good health?
