yat-sandeso yad-artham va

dutah sampresitah svayam

yad uktam naradenasya

sva-janmanakadundubheh

SYNONYMS

yat -- having which; sandesah -- message; yat -- which; artham -- purpose; va -- and; dutah -- as a messenger; sampresitah -- sent; svayam -- himself (Akrura); yat -- what; uktam -- was spoken; naradena -- by Narada; asya -- to him (Kamsa); sva -- His (Krsna's); janma -- birth; anakadundubheh -- from Vasudeva.

TRANSLATION

Akrura relayed the message he had been sent to deliver. He also described Kamsa's real intentions and how Narada had informed Kamsa that Krsna had been born as the son of Vasudeva.
