SYNONYMS

sri-sukah uvaca -- Sukadeva Gosvami said; iti -- thus; abhipretya -- ascertaining; nrpateh -- of the King; abhiprayam -- the mentality; sah -- he; yadavah -- Akrura, the descendant of King Yadu; suhrdbhih -- by his well-wishers; samanujnatah -- given permission to leave; punah -- again; yadu-purim -- to the city of the Yadu dynasty; agat -- went.

TRANSLATION

Sukadeva Gosvami said: Having thus apprised himself of the King's attitude, Akrura, the descendant of Yadu, took permission from his well-wishing relatives and friends and returned to the capital of the Yadavas.
