SYNONYMS

mithilayam -- at Mithila; upavane -- in a suburban garden; visrjya -- abandoning; patitam -- fallen; hayam -- his horse; padbhyam -- on foot; adhavat -- he ran; santrastah -- terrified; krsnah -- Lord Krsna; api -- also; anvadravat -- ran after; rusa -- furiously.

TRANSLATION

In a garden on the outskirts of Mithila, the horse Satadhanva was riding collapsed. Terrified, he abandoned the horse and began to flee on foot, with Krsna in angry pursuit.
