yada maghabhyo yasyanti

purvashadham maharshayah

tada nandat prabhrity esha

kalir vriddhim gamishyati

SYNONYMS

yada -- when; maghabhyah -- from Magha; yasyanti -- they will go; purva-ashadham -- to the next lunar mansion, Purvashadha; maha-rishayah -- the seven great sages; tada -- then; nandat -- beginning from Nanda; prabhriti -- and his descendants; eshah -- this; kalih -- age of Kali; vriddhim -- maturity; gamishyati -- will attain.

TRANSLATION

When the great sages of the Saptarshi constellation pass from Magha to Purvasadha, Kali will have his full strength, beginning from King Nanda and his dynasty.
